 *** LATEST NEWS *** -------------------- 11/1/10 UPDATE...UPDATE...UPDATE With it coming up on two years now since the release of "AWAKE" I thought I would update the player on the music page to add a few more songs. The first is Jealous Heart which was actaully a hidden track at the end of the CD . The next two...Revolution and Sooner or Later were recorded to go on the album but never made it as we made the hard decision to limit the number at that point. Well....now they are here for your listening enjoyment on the MUSIC page.! Also a big thank you to Rene at Doble - Impacto FM down in Juliaca PERU for the request of the CD and wanting to add us to your rotation. -------------------- 04/10/10 For those checking in! It has been a year of change for those of us in Eight Days Later since this time last year. We are all very pleased with the results we had with the CD and our live shows and still continue to hear positive things from these songs. Though all of us continue our passion in music it has indeed taken us in different directions...literally! Drummer LeeYoder finds himself now touring as a member of the band Circle Slide. Take a look as their growing popularity and upcoming album are sure to turn some heads. Bassist Tracey Pffeiffer now finds himself in Peoria, IL as Director of Youth and Worship Arts at East Peoria Free Methodist Church. Lead Vocalist and Guitarist Brett Swayn continues his never ending service to others as founder of Lambscroft and continues writing new material and leading worship every 1st and 3rd Saturday in Nashville at Woodbine Presbyterian. Keyboardist Matt Barber continues to record and produce artists from his studio, Sandbox Productions, but finds himself up north as well now living in Rockford, IL . The latest add for "Hurt" this week was by Z-Station down in Lima, Peru. A thank you to Z-Station for bringing us down south!. -------------------- 02/17/09 The Climb Still Continues We still continue to be amazed at the longevity stations are giving to our first single. Hurt last week jumped two spots on the Global CHR chart landing at it's top spot to date after 27 weeks....#8. -------------------- 02/02/09 Internet top 20! Hurt and Geneva continue to gain on the WiFi airwaves. is week both singles made the jump into the Internet top 20 at #16 and #18. Also over the weekend we performed Awake and Geneva at the INO/Shoutfest showcase to an audience of 30 bands and an industry panel. While not coming away as a selected winner, we were well recieved by all and overwhelmed by all the positive comments and feedback from everyone in attendance. Congratulations though are in order for fellow 333 Artist, Finding Favour. They were selected to begin talks with INO and had the crowd captivated by their newest material. Check them out! -------------------- 01/20/09 INO Label Showcase We are excited to have been selected by INO Records and Shoutfest to be one of the final 30 bands from around the country to perform at and attend the industry showcase/workshop here in Nashville put on by INO Records and Shoutfest on January 30-31. -------------------- 01/13/09 "Hurt" adds another Top 10 This week had "Hurt" climbing to the #9 spot on the CRW Canada Top 30 as it makes its first appearance in the top 10 here. -------------------- 01/06/09 2009...Starting off the Newr strong! With "Hurt" and "Geneva" still climb and posting some of their highest positions to date, 2009 is getting off to a great start. "We continue to be amazed at the longevity these two songs have had on radio since thier initial release late last summer. We feel the momentum building going into this new year" Here is this weeks latest.... "Hurt" has now also broken into the top 10 on CRW's global CHR chart with the #10 postion this week. Also on the CHR chart "Geneva" makes its first appearance in the top 20 climbing to #19. "Hurt" also finds itself again at #8 on the Global AC chart, #11 now on the the CANADA charts, and #22 on the Internet . "Geneva" holds down the #10 on the Global Rock chart and #23 on the Internet as well. -------------------- 12/16/08 This weeks charts......"Hurt" breaks into the top 10! More than 4 monther thier release "Hurt" and "Geneva" continue to climb on the CRW charts! This week marked a huge move for "Hurt" on the Global AC chart as it broke into the top 10 for the first time coming in at #8. "Hurt" also found itself in the #12 spot on the Global CHR and Canadian charts while also maintaining a respectable position in the main CRW CHR/POP chart right behind The Newsboys, Paramore, and Barlow Girl, and ahead of Fireflight.
